EPF Grievance: Employee Provident Fund Organization has a dedicated website ‘EPF I Grievance Management System’ where PF account holders can file their complaints. Complaints of PF withdrawal, PF account transfer, problems related to your customer (KYC), and other similar problems can be lodged through this website.

How to file a complaint related to your EPF account?

Visit EPFO’s official epfigms.gov.in.

To file your complaint, click on ‘Register Grievance’.

A new web page will open on your computer screen. For Speedy redress of your grievance, please select the appropriate Status if you have a UAN / PPO Number / Establishment Number. Others to be selected only when you do not have UAN / PPO Number/ Establishment Number, the ‘Other’ option can be selected.

To resolve a complaint related to your PF account, select the status as a ‘PF Member’. You will be asked to enter your UAN and security code.

Click on ‘Get OTP’. A one-time password OTP will be sent to your mobile number and email ID registered in the EPFO ​​database. Enter OTP and click Submit.

Once the OTP is successfully verified, you will be asked to enter your personal details.

Once you have entered the personal details, click on the PF number about which you have to file a complaint.

A pop-up will appear on your screen. Select the radio button to which you have a complaint – PF office, employer, employee deposit insurance EDLI scheme, or pre-pension. Choose the complaint category and enter your complaint details. Upload documentary evidence, if any.

Click ‘Add’ after the complaint is filed. Click on ‘Submit’. Your complaint will be submitted as soon as you click submit.

The complaint registration number will be sent to your registered email address and an SMS will be sent to your mobile after registering the complaint. Maintain your complaint registration number.

You can also take a print out of the complaint you have filed.

After Complaint

After you file a complaint, you can track the status of your complaint on the EPF Complaint Management System website.

Follow the steps below to track the status of your complaint.

Visit the epfigms.gov.in website

Choose the ‘View Status’ option.

Enter the registration number, ie complaint number, complaint password, or mobile number/email ID and security code. Click Submit.

The status of your complaint will be displayed on your computer screen. The status of the complaint will also indicate which regional office of the EPFO ​​is mentioning your complaint and the name of the officer handling your complaint.

If you wish to contact the regional EPFO ​​office, the email address and phone number will be displayed on the screen.
